The objective of the Hosting Systems Analyst is to support and sustain the operation of  hosted systems and applications. The Hosting Systems Analyst will have a strong focus on updating and maintaining  production and staging hosting environments.

Responsibilities

• Apply multiple scheduled monthly product releases to staging and production environments
• Become Subject Matter Expert on product implementation processes and products that are hosted for external clients
• Strong understanding of High Availability (HA) architecture and the importance of system uptime
• Work closely with multiple internal departments and third party vendors, as well as provide detailed status reports on assigned projects and ongoing support for hosted systems and applications
• Implement changes into staging and production environments to support change management and release scheduling
• Ensure performance of systems meet expected Global Hosting Operation standards
• Assist during production outages, and work with other internal teams on root cause analysis and resolution
• Must have excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, both verbally and in writing

Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience working in Information Technology with a focus on network/web administration, support, troubleshooting, monitoring and reporting
• Strong knowledge of web technologies including but not limited to Microsoft IIS, DNS, FTP
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of proper system maintenance processes and procedures in a production environment
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of server security and web protocols
• Experience with Windows 2008 and 2008 R2 Servers
• Knowledge of ITIL processes including system monitoring, incident management, high availability and other key IT operational services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• MCSA certification a plus
• The ability and experience to work well independently as well as cross-functionally
